AICTE-Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing of Indian Languages
Two day workshop under the scheme AICTE-VAANI on 25-07-2024 & 26-07-2024
The Department of Electrical and Electronics Engineering, LBS College of Engineering,
Kasaragod, has been selected to host a two-day workshop on energy and developmental issues in
Malayalam under ‘AICTE-VAANI’ scheme. The scheduled date of the workshop are 25-7-2024
to 26-7-2024.
The All India Council for Technical Education has launched the ‘AICTE-VAANI’ scheme, aimed
at fostering the use of Indian languages among educators and students to enhance the teaching
and learning experience. VAANI stands for Vibrant Advocacy for Advancement and Nurturing
of Indian Languages.
The 12 emerging fields covered in the ‘AICTE-VAANI’ scheme are ‘Advanced Materials, Rare
Earth & Critical Minerals, Semiconductor, Space and Defense, Blue Economy, Energy,
Sustainability & Climate Change, Advanced Computing (encompassing Supercomputing, AI,
Quantum Computing), Next-Generation Communications, Smart Cities & Mobility, Agrotech &
Food Processing, Healthcare & Medical Technology, Disaster Management & Resilient
Infrastructure, and Manufacturing & Industry 4.0.
