The Department of Electronics and Communication Engineering, in association with the Research & Development Cell and IEEE Kerala Section, is delighted to announce a 6-Day Online Faculty Development Programme (FDP) on “Exploring the Opportunities of AI in VLSI Systems”, scheduled from 2nd to 7th December 2025.
This FDP aims to provide an in-depth understanding of the convergence between Artificial Intelligence and VLSI design. The sessions will explore emerging research directions, design methodologies, and AI-driven tools that enhance performance, automation, and innovation in semiconductor systems. Participants will gain valuable insights into topics such as 3D ICs, FinFETs, neuromorphic computing, AI accelerators, and pedagogical approaches for integrating AI in VLSI education.
The sessions will be conducted online from 7:00 p.m. to 8:30 p.m., ensuring convenient participation. A certificate of participation will be awarded to those maintaining a minimum of 80% attendance.
