The Electrical Seminar Hall has been officially renamed as Deepa Memorial Hall in memory of Deepa, student of the first EEE batch and former Convenor of the EEE Alumni Association, who passed away on April 25. A special gathering was held today to mark the naming of the hall, with Dr. M. Abdul Rahiman, Director, LBS Centre for Science & Technology, joining as the special guest and Dr. Muhammed Sekoor, Principal, delivering the presidential address. The event was attended by Dr. Praveen Kumar (Dean Academics), Dr. Vinodu George (Dean Student Affairs), Dr. Pramod (Dean Research), and the Convenor of the Alumni Association, Ms. Drishya, along with alumni members Mr. Praveen, Mr. Juvel, Mr. Junaid, and Mr. Sreejith.
